This car caused an absolute uproar when it was released and has been probably the most talked about pure performance car in the world.  Whenever someone mentions about one of the fastest cars in the world then you can be sure that the McLaren will eventually be included in the converstion.  Why has the name McLaren which incidently was named after a great New Zealand racecar driver caused such a stir?  We could be here for a while explaining this but essentially its because the name until this car was released was known only as a Formula One racecar! Ok so we know it doesn't look like the F1 cars but what about it's performance then? Yes it has the performance to back it up.
