Bugatti conjures up some very mixed ideas among many people as this company has been regarded by many as being the ultimate in elegant motoring for many decades. It has also been well known for it's tremendously powerful engines and here it is again with a new benchmark in design and power!  The Veyron will be built at a rate of around 50-60 cars per year and they will be snapped up quickly I'm sure.

EB/16 Veyron uses the W configuration engine which is almost like having two V8's together side by side using one crank. It uses four turbos, one for each bank of cylinders and of course has eight camshafts and four valves per cylinder to give it sixty four in total. This engine can produce over 1000bhp with total reliabilty and will be running more than this in the 2003 model.
The Bugatti EB/18 and EB/16 are definetely a different car in many respects and continue a tradition in excellence that was created over many decades.
The elegant interior of the EB/16 shows that you don't have to clutter the space inside your cockpit with gadgets to make an impression.
